Why Am I Seeing a “Recommended Address” at Checkout?

When entering your shipping information, you may see a recommended address appear during checkout. This is a standardized version of the address you entered, verified against official postal databases such as USPS to help ensure accurate delivery.

The address you manually enter may sometimes:

  • Use non-standard abbreviations (for example, “Street” instead of “ST”)
  • Be missing the full ZIP+4 code

These small differences can sometimes cause delivery delays or sorting issues.


The recommended address is:

  • Formatted to match official postal service records
  • Adjusted to include proper abbreviations and the ZIP+4 code
