Why Do I Need a Voucher Code for My Free Sports Package?
If your sports league includes a free photo package or team photo, you may be asked to enter a voucher code when placing your order.
You may wonder why we use a voucher code instead of automatically sending the package to every athlete. We made this change to give families more control over their orders and to make the process more convenient.
Why Don't You Automatically Mail the Free Package?
In the past, free packages were sometimes printed and mailed automatically using the address information provided to us by the league. However, families' addresses can change, and the information provided by the league may not always be current.
This resulted in packages being:
- Returned to our office because the address was no longer correct.
- Occasionally damaged during the return shipping process and requiring a reprint.
- Delayed while being distributed through the league.
When packages were distributed by the league, families also sometimes had to wait for the league to receive and distribute the orders. This could lead to additional delays and uncertainty about when a package would be available.
Voucher Codes Put You in Control
With a voucher code, you choose whether and when to redeem your included package. This approach provides several benefits:
You Enter Your Current Shipping Address
When you place your order, you enter the shipping address where you would like your package delivered. This helps ensure your order goes directly to the correct location and has significantly reduced returned packages.
You Don't Have to Wait for League Distribution
Your order is shipped directly to the address you provide rather than waiting for the league to distribute packages. This means you can receive your package without having to wait for a separate league distribution process.
You Choose Whether to Redeem Your Package
Not every family wants a physical photo package. With the voucher system, we don't print and ship packages for families who aren't interested in receiving them.
You Can Customize Your Items
The online ordering process also gives you the opportunity to customize certain information on your included items, such as titles, when available. This option would not be possible when packages are automatically printed and distributed.
How Do I Use My Voucher?
Your unique voucher code is typically provided in your athlete's proof email. Follow the instructions in the yellow information box when placing your order and enter the voucher code at checkout.
The voucher will apply the included item or package value to your order according to the league's arrangement with Ultimate Exposures.
If you received a proof but cannot find your voucher code, or you are having trouble redeeming it, Customer Service can help.
